I don’t blame you. Dental treatment prices can be quite confusing. That’s why I’ve made this video sharing with you certain factors that can impact treatment prices to help you understand why there might be differences at times.
So, what factors influence the quote you receive?
1. The materials and the lab
The materials used and the lab chosen for your procedure play a role. At Dove Dental, we use high-grade materials for our treatments and invest in current technology to support a comfortable experience for you. This allows us to work with our skilled technicians towards natural-looking results.
2. The time invested in treatment
The price quoted is the time invested in the treatment. This includes treatment planning, the actual procedure, as well as aftercare support.
We put a lot of effort into planning every procedure we perform. For instance, we use 3D digital planning, also known as digital smile design, for cases like dental veneers, which takes time and money to set up.
We might also create a 2D mockup to show you the potential outcome. Although this adds to the cost, it’s worth it because you can request changes before committing to the treatment.
It’s important to note that not all dental practices use digital smile design or 3D digital planning for procedures such as implant surgery. This can mean that the quote you receive might be lower. However, at Dove Dental, we are meticulous with our work and believe these steps are an important part of the care we provide to our patients.
3. The clinician’s experience
The price is the clinician’s experience. Generally, more experienced clinicians will charge higher rates, while less experienced ones may charge less as they build their skills and reputation. However, this isn’t always a strict rule.
